Staghorn

Staghorn are majestic ferns. There is a mystery surrounding them. I have adored this species for a very long time. Now I have 2 types, one given to me by a special couple Tom and Jerry (yeap, this is real, not the cartoon) which has grown too big and has many pups (that's what they call the babies). The other one which is an imported specie is doing fine at my apartment now.

Starfern

I call this Starfern. My most prized fern, I have over 30 types of ferns and this is my most favourite fern.
Grown under a papaya tree, it is lush, robust, at its best. The male leaf is different, with more 'spikes', and when mature, has spores around the edge. A cross between Hemionitis Arifolia (Heart Fern) and Doryopteris Pedata (Hand Fern).
